Golden Rules

Our pupils really care about how we treat each other and work hard to learn how to be successful, kind and brave children.  We have a 30 minute choice time every Friday known as ‘Golden Time’.  We recognise and reward the fantastic behaviour of our pupils, week in, week out!

This is part of our behaviour policy to support children in excellent behaviour across the school. Children are encouraged to follow 6 simple Golden Rules alongside our Christian values that help to keep the children safe, happy and successful.  The children like the clear messages this brings and some parents love the system so much that they take copies of the Golden Rules to use at home!

• We are kind and helpful
• We listen
• We are honest
• We are gentle
• We work hard
• We look after property

Children also have their very own 'avatars' on the Class Dojo system of rewards. This is one of the many ways we use to praise and acknowledge children who are following the Golden Rules.  This is alongside Golden Cerificates in our weekly Golden Assembly,  sharing successes with parents and a good old 'well done!' is always rewarding.
