School Vision & Values - Life in all its fullness

At Ambleside Church of England Primary School, our vision is rooted in the words of Jesus in John 10:10:

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10)

Our vision, 'Life in all its fullness', reflects our commitment to ensuring that every member of our school community flourishes spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally. Inspired by the love of God, we nurture every child as a unique individual, encouraging them to discover their God-given potential and to live with confidence, purpose and compassion.

Flowing from this vision are our six Christian values, which shape every aspect of school life:

Friendship – building caring, respectful relationships where everyone is welcomed and valued.
Thankfulness – recognising God's blessings and showing gratitude for one another and the world around us.
Forgiveness – following the example of Jesus by showing mercy, restoring relationships and learning from our mistakes.
Hope – looking to the future with courage and optimism, trusting in God's promises.
Trust – developing honesty, integrity and faith in God and one another.
Fellowship – belonging to a loving community where we work together, serve others and celebrate our shared journey.

These values are woven through our curriculum, collective worship, relationships and daily life, guiding the decisions we make and the way we care for one another. They inspire our pupils and adults to become courageous advocates who make a positive difference within our local community and beyond.
